I had many consults with different Dr's but when I met Dr Solomon I knew he was going to be my Dr. He didn't rush me he listened to what I was wanting in results. I could not have asked for a better experience. From the minute you walk in and are greeted with an exceptionally clean waiting room and Melanie, who couldn’t be sweeter. She made me feel comfortable and excited from the second I walked in. It only got better when I was walked back to the room and met with Dina and Dr. Solomon. Dr. Solomon was patient, informative, and really wanted to make sure I knew the ins and outs of my procedure (bread augmentation). Dina was so easy to work with scheduling wise and it was almost like I was being helped by family. I was so nervous day of surgery, but I met Hailey, the OR nurse who put me at ease. I cannot believe how perfect my results are- Dr. Solomon saw my vision and NAILED it. Even my husband can’t believe how good they look when I look at the “inspo” pics I had shown prior to surgery. Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery, is a procedure that addresses sagging skin on the upper eyelids, puffiness under the eyes, and vision obstruction caused by excess tissue.
Individuals over the age of 35 with excess fat or skin on their eyelids, leading to a tired or aged appearance, are ideal candidates. It can also benefit those with vision issues caused by sagging skin obstructing their sight line.
The procedure can target the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. It involves removing excess skin, fat, and possibly a small section of muscle to create a refreshed, youthful appearance with natural and balanced results.
Recovery typically takes about 7–10 days, with noticeable improvements appearing by the third week. Mild swelling and bruising are common and can be managed with ice packs and prescribed eye ointment. Full results develop over the next 3–4 months as the eyelids fully heal and settle.
Upper blepharoplasty improves hooding and removes excess skin but does not elevate the eyebrows or address crow's feet. Lower blepharoplasty reduces puffiness and improves the lid-cheek transition but does not correct fine lines, crow's feet, or sagging cheeks.
